The hotel was an ideal place for enjoying a pretty quiet area, just next door to San augistillo. Climate control, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a seating area inside the standard queen room were handy. All the staff were very very helpful, amicable.

The culinary scene in Mazunte is a treasure trove! I fell in love with the delicious dishes at La Ola, just a stone's throw away. The pool at Cabanas Sicaru is a good retreat after a day of eating, and the beautifully designed room offered a perfect oasis.

While I didn't mind the lack of hot water, it might not suit everyone. My upper-storey cabaña had its quirks with some critters from above visiting, so I'd recommend snagging a lower one for a bit more privacy.

easy walk to must-see spots in mazunte

I had an relaxing stay that was improved with the beautiful hotel with a great swimming pool, and the convenient walk to local highlights like the Sea Turtle Center just 500 meters away and the fine Punta Cometa Lookout Point almost 2 km away made my weekend exploration easy.

The cabana features a lovely ambiance with eye-catching decor. The space by the bar offers good wifi and great music.

Unreliable Wi-Fi plagued my stay, frequently disconnecting and annoyingly slow when it worked. Hot water was a significant issue, leaving me to deal with chilly showers during my mornings. If you're on the upper floors, enjoy the straw ceilings. They trap heat. Lastly, charging extra for beach towels reminded me of an unnecessary expense that left a bad taste.

The lovely decor and nice pool can't. Absoluetly, I expected extra attention for my stay, but apparently that's just for the other guests. I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn't with all these glaring issues looming large.

The modern decor and well-maintained rooms really stood out 😊. I wish the Wi-Fi was better. Charging for beach towels felt a bit off.

The Standard Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was really nice. Super modern and clean. The beds were comfy. The A/C worked great, a must in the heat. Only downside was the noise from the nearby area, which sometimes could be distracting at night. But overall, it was solid!
